Countrys Women's Hockey Club

Countrys Women's Hockey Club

BACKGROUND

Our club commenced in 1981 and comprises a team in each of the Jnr Yr6-8, Jnr Yr9-12 and Women’s A2 competitions.

We have 13 current Life Members either playing or still involved with the Club and have had strong representation at state level in both juniors and seniors (plus 1 selected to play for Australia) over the lifetime of our club.

Our senior players are committed to giving back to hockey by taking on roles involving coaching, mentoring and umpiring juniors to develop their skills and nurture their long term love of hockey.

We are a very close and cohesive group with great family support and a strong policy in the development of junior players. This is evident in our record of success in winning Premierships numerous times since our inception.

2024 SEASON

Congratulations to our Year 9-12 Girls on their Grand Final performance against Robins  -  Our 2024 Season Premiers!
